Why Advanced Large Animal Technician
The Advanced Large Animal Certificate program is designed to prepare the graduate to succeed in employment as a large animal technician in a wide variety of careers including private practice or academia. The graduate will be proficient in facilitating veterinary procedures, patient care, and client services in the large animal industry.

BHC pumpkin auction raises $6,000+ for United Way
The 2024 Stampede Auction of Champion Pumpkins at Black Hawk College raised $6,075 for the Kewanee Area United Way. The Oct. 23 event at the East Campus brought generous BHC students, employees, retirees and alumni together to open up their wallets for a good cause.
